pocket spotter — privacy policy

Pocket Spotter is a workout-logging app. It is designed to be a private record of your training, kept under your control.

what we collect

Nothing. Pocket Spotter does not collect any data from you - not your workouts, not your device information, not analytics, not crash logs that include personal information. We have no servers and no database. We never see what you log.

where your data lives

Your workout data is stored in your own iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit. It lives in your private CloudKit database, which:

• Is yours, not ours. We cannot access it.
• Is encrypted by Apple in transit and at rest.
• Syncs across devices signed in to your iCloud account.
• Is subject to Apple's iCloud terms and privacy policy.

If you sign out of iCloud or disable iCloud for Pocket Spotter, your data stays on your device. If you delete the app and your iCloud copy, the data is gone.

third parties

Pocket Spotter does not include third-party SDKs, analytics, advertising networks, or tracking tools. The app does not make network requests to any server we operate - because we don't operate any.

children's privacy

Pocket Spotter is not directed at children under 13. Because we collect no data, no special handling is required.

changes to this policy

If we ever change how Pocket Spotter handles data, this page will be updated and the effective date above will change. There is no other place to look.
